Description

What I especially like about these is the repetition of a single letter over and over in both capital and lowercase form

looking as if singing up a storm

but I've never seen one where the ball sits on a pedestal inside of it

but I love it--in very large part because of that meat-like melon (with those very pork chop looking slices) which gives the whole thing a Chaïm Soutine sort of flavor in addition to lending it a certain eroticism

Peter Passuntino 1960s Tempera on Paper Painting of Black and Pink Mask tiny shrimp What I especially like aboutA couple more works on paper today by Peter Passuntino (b. Chicago, 1936), dating to the 1960s this bold painting on paper of a face or mask, and a second more narrative sort of drawing. I find them both very full of humanity and emotion this one making me think a bit of Picasso, and Matisse too, and very much of the sort of sorrow and search for meaning that transcends time. 13 7 8" x 10 3 4". Overall pretty good condition, with loss to lower right
