The good news is that it is correctly impressed to 3648 Pte J. WRIGHT. NOTTS & DERBY REGt. The obverse shows signs of brooch mounting at some point, quite nicely removed. The suspension and clasps are original but not for this medal, and are slightly loose around the mounting pin. Fitted are WITTEBERGEN, TRANSVAAL, CAPE COLONY. His correct entitlement is JOHANNESBURG, DIAMOND HILL, CAPE
